Location: Miami, Florida

Hispanic Market Weekly, the leading authority on news and events moving the Hispanic market has an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with outstanding communication skills and confirmed track record. The objective: assist in the production of both the daily news briefs and weekly newsletter covering today’s top US Hispanic marketing issues and take full command of our widely read Ratings Watch and Enhanced Market Profile newsletters.

Principal responsibilities include:
? Report and write daily news briefs, weekly features and stories for the Monday morning newsletter.
? Directing the editorial coverage of our television ratings-based weekly, distributed each Wednesday, and our weekly Enhanced Market Profiles.
? Assisting the editor in conducting extensive online/electronic searches of news items of interest to our readers

Ideally, you should:
• Have at least three years of reporting and writing experience
• Have the ability to understand and identify with our target audience
? Knowledge of Spanish-language media, including familiarity with Nielsen and Arbitron ratings.
? Be able to interpret and report on quarterly company financial filings and conduct research as it pertains to reporting needs
? Possess exemplary compositional skills, the ability to work under daily deadlines and juggle multiple tasks, strong typing and word processing capabilities, and experience with proofing and editing.
? Be a team player with an entrepreneurial approach to growing a newsletter business
? Spanish fluency recommended but not required.
