Location: Miami, Florida
For the Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida in Miami, $32K annually. Develop and promote a positive image of Girl Scouting in the Council and community. Plan and organize a communications and marketing effort in Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. Design, write, and produce annual reports, newsletters, camp brochures, fund development materials, membership recruitment packages, and all other council materials. Coordinate media events, public displays, and requests for girls to appear for the media. Serve as the point person for media contacts. Provide maintenance for the Council website. Support special events and grant writing efforts. Establish marketing objectives and provide support to membership department. Collaborate with community groups. Requires belief in the Girl Scout mission, bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and successful management experience in communications, public relations, marketing, and management. Must have experience cultivating community contacts and collaborations, and excellent writing, computer, and public speaking skills. Send resume and cover letter to Sally Ann Boggess, COO.
