In Boca Raton for YourTotalHealth.com, a servie of NBC and iVillage. Create and manage consumer content that focuses on health and medical topics, ranging from women’s and children’s health to conditions such as heart disease and asthma. Develop compelling and up-to-date content that educates and informs consumers in a friendly and helpful tone. Write and edit health and medical content and develop e-newsletters and alerts. Write engaging headlines and hyperlink text (”touts”) that drive traffic. Coordinate with producers of packages that effectively integrate content, tools, video, community, medical experts and third-party content. Works with matrix teams and with research and metrics teams. Requires bachelor’s degree (journalism, English, communications), 2 years writing and editing consumer health/medical content, (preferably in an online environment), 1 year experience using content management systems (Vignette 7 preferred), familiarity with Microsoft Office, and use of SEO in writing/editing. Experience collaborating and coordinating the work of producers, writers, designers, photo editors, technical staff, video experts and others to produce online content is desirable. Apply online.
