Web Copywriter

Location: Miami, Florida

A leading design company in Miami seeks a talented Web Copywriter. The company is designing and building a new world-class web site and launching an overall new online presence. The candidate should have enthusiasm to learn the brand and effectively translate it online. The Individual will join a dynamic team working simultaneously on several exciting web/online projects. Candidate will be working for a visual brand, and therefore, should have a creative mind from both a visual and copy standpoint.

Individual will collaborate with the company’s copywriter and web content/web business team in writing and executing exceptional and highly effective web copy.

Individual will be responsible for writing and executing copy for the web team, which includes: web site, including but not limited to corporate, design, editorial, e-commerce/products, client services, etc. ; local and national email marketing campaigns/newsletters; banner ads; landing pages; and affiliate online marketing

Requirements

3-5 years related web copywriting experience preferred. (A blend of traditional and web copywriting is acceptable)

A degree in communications/related field

Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Excellent writing skills, communication skills and ability to completely “live” the brand and translate it online are a must.

Excellent editing skills and proofreading skills required. Ability to write concise brand copy that meets brand objectives is required.
